Welcome to my page! I started my role at VFES as a speech language pathologist in February 2018. I love the welcoming environment and sense of community and teamwork the teachers and staff bring to school every day. I am currently a speech language pathologist in the elementary school, working with students grades K-5 on a variety of speech and language goals. I provide individual, dyad, small group and large group services in a pull out and push in model. I collaborate with all teachers to promote generalization of skills in all settings throughout the day.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University in 2013, and my Master of Science degree from Bloomsburg University in 2015. Prior to my start at VFES, I worked with the Delaware Autism Program and Elwyn Seedlings, which are specialized programs for children with Autism. I worked primarily with preschool and elementary school aged children.
In my free time, I am a fitness instructor and I love to travel. I also am a huge sports fan, and love the Philadelphia Eagles and the Penn State Nittany Lions.
I am looking forward to a great year with your children. Please don’t hesitate to email me with any questions!
