Parent Education Series

  • Our Parent Education Series is free and open to the public.

    Parents, caregivers, educators, clinicians and service providers are encouraged to attend. Registration is available on a first-come, first-come basis and participants do not need to be members of The Vanguard School to register.

  • Internet Safety for Neurodiverse Adults & Children

    March 13, 2024 (6-7:30 pm)     

     

         Many individuals with developmental disabilities have difficulty understanding the dangers of online socialization and experiences.  Join us to learn how to protect your loved ones with special needs on the World Wide Web.


    Attendees will learn to:
    • Teach children and adults about appropriate online behavior.
    • Access resources for ongoing learning.
    • Know which information is safe to share online.
    • Access parental controls to safeguard loved ones.
