Mrs. Anna Cox (Mitcheli)

Hello! My name is Anna Cox and I am the Daily Living Skills teacher for the middle school and high school programs. I graduated from The Culinary Institute of America with a Bachelors degree in Baking and Pastry Arts Management in 2007. After working in several restaurants including a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in London, England, I decided to go back to school for special education. In 2013, after completing my student teaching in the high school here, I graduated with my Masters in Special Education as well as an Autism Certification from Wilmington University. I was employed for the Extended School Year program for two summers before joining the full time staff in September 2013. Throughout the summer, I was able to continue the Culinary Arts program, as well serve as counselor for multiple Summer L.I.F.E. programs. I currently spend summers working as program coordinator for the VTC program.
