Flu Alerts
The Chester County Health Department is offering flu vaccinations for the entire family at community clinics this fall. Flu vaccines are available by appointment. Those interested can also register to receive a COVID-19 booster at the same time as the flu vaccine.
Flu is a very serious disease that affects even healthy people. The single most effective protection for the flu is getting the flu vaccine. It is recommended that all people aged 6 months and older receive a flu vaccine every year.
The Health Department will have flu vaccine available for people as young as six months old and high-dose vaccine for seniors. People with private health insurance should bring their insurance card for billing. The flu vaccine will be available at no charge for all people who do not have health insurance.
Please share this information with friends, family, and co-workers who still need to get vaccinated. Together, we can #FightFlu!
There are two ways to receive the flu vaccine from the Chester County Health Department:
- Schedule an appointment at the Health Department, 601 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA 19380.
- Schedule an appointment at a community clinic.
