Vanguard Transition Center Students Celebrate the Season

Students at the Vanguard Transition Center decorated a “winter tree” they cut down at Varner Farms with eco-friendly ornaments they handcrafted from natural materials. Social, recreational and community activities are an important part of the curriculum at the Vanguard Transition Center, which prepares special education students 18-21 for their futures. Students at the Center pursue post-secondary education and vocational training and develop life and independent-living skills.
