To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please contact your employer or the VFES Advancement Office. If your employer has a program, you can increase your donation with employer matching funds. Employer matching gifts may also be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
Contributions to Valley Forge Educational Services and its programs can be made through your local United Way Employee Campaign where you work. Valley Forge Educational Services can be selected using the organization name and/or agency code.

Pennsylvania currently provides businesses and corporations an opportunity to receive tax credit of up to $100,000 for contributions to approved scholarship organizations. VFES is an approved scholarship organization. To make a tax credit donation, simply go to the EITC website (www.newpa.com) and select Valley Forge Educational Services. Learn about how EITC contributions provide learning experiences for at-risk youth and/or download application.
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to Valley Forge Educational Services. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.
