About Valley Forge Educational Services
We offer a variety of educational services focused on guiding young children, adolescents and post high school learners to independence. Started in 1959 by psychologist Dr. Milton Brutten to help children whose needs were not being met by mainstream educational programs, we have grown and evolved with each generation of special learners.
Each of our programs supports the needs of specific learners:
- The Luma Center for Development and Learning
- The Vanguard School
- Vanguard Transition Center
- Summer Matters
Together our programs share the “VFES Advantage,” including
- Spacious 28 acre campus for indoor or outdoor learning
- On-site Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Therapy
- On-site behavior specialists
- Programming to meet the needs of each individual child
- Parent education
- Professional training
- Resources in special education
- Partnership in learning with community organizations
Valley Forge Educational Services is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a specific mission. Our organization is governed by an independent Board of Trustees and managed by a highly skilled Leadership Team. We are located in Malvern, PA.
