…Paoli, PA…Valley Forge Educational Services announced the appointment of Mr. Mario Dickerson as Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).
“As VFES continues to mature and grow, our advancement efforts must move from event-based to cause-based fundraising,” said Dr. Osborne Abbey, VFES CEO. “Mario brings the experience and creativity to move VFES forward.”
Dickerson joins VFES from Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), a faith-based leader in global healthcare. As a Major & Planned Gift Officer, he cultivated and solicited major and planned gifts for CMMB, which raised over $265 million in aid in 2009.
Dickerson brings to VFES a proven track record. As a part-time associate with Federico Associates, he has consulted on multimillion dollar capital and Annual Fund campaigns for churches, schools, and community organizations.
“Building on previous advancement efforts as VFES grows is an exciting challenge and one I’m looking forward to taking on,” said Dickerson.
As the newest member of VFES’ senior management team, Dickerson will utilize his experience to help VFES expands its offerings and support for children needing specialized education services.
