PAOLI, Pa. – July 16, 2012 - Valley Forge Educational Services, a provider of educational services to children, adolescents and young adults with specialized learning needs, has named Grace Fornicola its Executive Director effective July 1, 2012.
For more than 25 years, Ms. Fornicola has been committed to the care and quality of life of children with special needs at KidsPeace National Centers, where she served as Vice President. “We are grateful to our hardworking search committee of faculty, staff, parents, and board members who evaluated more than 100 candidates for the leadership position at VFES,” said Board Chair Frank Tait. “Grace’s successful career in nonprofit child welfare leadership, her educational background, and her depth of experience in administering educational, clinical and community programs across several states made her our candidate of choice. Above all, her passion, energy, and empathy embody the spirit of the VFES family of students, teachers, parents, and staff.”
“I am thrilled to be named Executive Director,” said Ms. Fornicola. “The dedication and enthusiasm of staff at VFES is palpable.
