Susan Hentz Delivers Training to Local Schools at VFES Event

…Paoli, PA… Thirty-five regional public and charter schools participated in a full-day training sponsored by Valley Forge Educational Services March 17 on “A View into Response to Instruction and Intervention.” Susan Hentz, intervention specialist and a nationally acclaimed presenter delivered the training.

Hentz provided participants with tools and strategies for using data to improve student outcomes. Her key points included how to plan and provide multi-tiered instruction and intervention, and the importance of progress-monitoring and targeted instruction to improving student outcomes.

“Susan Hentz is a dynamic presenter with an impressive grasp of how to implement research-based instructional strategies,” said Maria Kreiter, VFES’ Director of Conferences and Training. “We are delighted to be able to offer this training as part of our ongoing commitment to providing Response to Intervention training to local and regional schools.”

The event was held at the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center and was sponsored by Daley + Jalboot Architects and Partlow Insurance Agency, Inc.
