…Paoli, PA….Construction is proceeding on VFES’ new Cafeteria/Education Center. When complete, the complex will provide upgraded flexible dining space for students and staff and commercial kitchen facilities suitable for providing students with vocational training in culinary skills.
Ground was broken for the Center on October 12. The project has been long awaited and will enhance and will replace the current kitchen and dining facilities which are too small for the number of students currently on campus.
“This project represents a major step forward for VFES,” said Osborne Abbey, Chief Executive Officer at Valley Forge Educational Services. “The campus currently lacks modern dining facilities, and the construction of this combined center will give us long-needed space and flexibility.”
Construction is proceeding on schedule and is scheduled for completion by May 2011. The project was designed by Daley + Jalboot Architects and is being built by Wohlsen Construction Company.
It is the first major construction project on VFES’ campus since 1998.
