Valley Forge Educational Services (VFES) offers a wide variety of educational programs and integrated services preparing children and young adults with special needs to realize their potential as contributing members of the community. Through our programs—The Luma Center, Summer Matters, The Vanguard School and The Vanguard Transition Center—VFES fosters academic, therapeutic, social and emotional growth for a successful transition to work, post-secondary education and community living. 
The Vanguard School is an Approved Private School providing programs for and licensed to accept students, 4–21 years of age, with a Pennsylvania Department of Special Education exceptionality of autism, speech-language disorders, emotional disturbance and/or other health impairment (OHI).
The Vanguard Transition Center offers post-secondary education, career preparation and social and daily living skills development to young adults, 18–21 years of age, with a Pennsylvania Department of Special Education exceptionality.
 summer matters Summer Matters offers educational and recreational programming for young people, 5–24 years of age, with learning challenges and special needs. Programs include Summer Voyagers, Summer L.I.F.E., two ESY programs and respite programs, all of which build on campers’ interests to help them succeed, learn and grow.
The Luma Center is home to StarPoint and StarPoint 2, The Vanguard School's Pre-K/K and K/1 classrooms, which embrace the concept that each child learns differently. Our comprehensive programs recognize each child's abilities while supporting his or her academic and therapeutic needs.
